Signing of a Scientific and Academic Cooperation Agreement between the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University and the Technical Engineering College in Mosul, as Part of the Renewable Energy Conference Activities in Sulaymaniyah

Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, and in line with the University's directions to strengthen its scientific and academic relations with educational institutions locally and internationally, a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University and the Technical Engineering College – Mosul / Northern Technical University.<br />This agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of teaching and scientific research, exchange academic expertise, organize joint activities and events, and develop curricula, all of which contribute to raising the scientific and research standards of both parties.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University was represented at the signing by a high-level academic delegation including: • Professor Dr. Qusay Rasheed Abdul Ameer – Head of Delegation<br />• Professor Dr. Silwan Obeid Waheed – Member<br />• Lecturer Dr. Mujtaba Abdul Kadhim Fleihe – Member<br />The agreement was signed by Professor Dr. Qusay Rasheed Abdul Ameer on behalf of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, with Professor Dr. Majid Khalil Najm, Dean of the Technical Engineering College – Mosul.<br />The signing ceremony took place in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, as part of the activities of the 3rd International Conference on Renewable Energy, organized by the Northern Technical University from April 20 to 21, 2025, with the participation of elite researchers and academics from various universities and scientific institutions.<br />This step aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of openness to reputable scientific experiences and the promotion of partnerships that contribute to the advancement of the academic and research landscape, ultimately serving the outputs of higher education in Iraq.<br />This initiative supports Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University, the First in Iraq
