Opening Session of the College of Administrative Sciences Conference (High-Level Dialogue on Poverty and Development)<br />The conference opened with a panel discussion featuring a select group of experts and decision-makers. The session was chaired by Professor Dr. Haider Ali Al-Dulaimi, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, and featured valuable scholarly participation from:<br />- Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat University.<br />- Professor Dr. Wafaa Jaafar Al-Mahdawi, Advisor to the Ministry of Planning and Professor of Sustainable Development at Al-Mustansiriya University.<br />- Engineer Mu'ayyad Ismail Al-Janabi, Director General of the Executive Directorate of Poverty Strategy at the Ministry of Planning.<br />The participants discussed the reality of poverty in Iraq, focusing on Babil Governorate as a model study. They also touched on structural challenges, government policies to combat poverty, and ways to achieve the second Sustainable Development Goal (Zero Hunger).<br />At the conclusion of the session, the Dean of the College expressed his thanks and gratitude to the participants for their attendance and the valuable, practical studies they presented.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University is the leading university in Iraq.
