Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, the Al-Mustaqbal Forum for Civil Society Organizations and the Private Sector was launched on the morning of Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Future University, as part of the fourth day of the 3rd International Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week Festival.<br /><br />Held under the slogan: “Civil Society and the Private Sector – Innovative Partnerships Lighting the Future”, the forum witnessed significant official, academic, and societal attendance, including representatives from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers – NGO Directorate, the Ministry of Planning, the private sector, and civil society organizations.<br /><br />The forum’s activities highlighted the importance of collaboration between these entities in supporting sustainable community initiatives, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities — with an emphasis on innovation and integration.
