Al-Mustaqbal University has achieved a new scientific achievement, adding to its long list of distinguished achievements. It topped the list of private universities in Iraq in terms of research output, according to the latest publication issued by the global Scopus database, which covered research publication indicators for Iraqi universities.<br />According to the report, Al-Mustaqbal University's research output in the Scopus database reached (5,243) five thousand two hundred and forty-three research papers, placing it first among private universities and eleventh (11) out of 188 universities and educational and research institutions featured in the publication.<br />The university's president, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdi, expressed his pride in this scientific achievement, noting that this progress reflects the ongoing efforts of the university's professors and researchers to enhance the environment of scientific research and innovation. He also emphasized that the university continues to consolidate its position as a leading academic institution locally and regionally. Dr. Hassan Magdy pointed out that this achievement comes after a series of successes, including those mentioned in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research report issued in late April. This report demonstrated Al-Mustaqbal University's excellence in publishing in high-impact journals ranked first and second in the top quartiles, with the number of scientific citations published in the university's name exceeding 43,000. This was in addition to the university's excellence in the number of research papers related to sustainable development goals.<br /><br />Concluding his statement, the university president, Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, congratulated all university members, including professors, staff, and students, on this achievement. He called for continued teamwork and excellence, not only in the field of scientific research, but also in all areas of academic and administrative work, in line with the university's vision and mission to always provide the best. He affirmed his full support for all initiatives that contribute to achieving the highest levels of quality and leadership.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University is the number one university in Iraq.
