nder the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, the summer training program for the college’s students has officially commenced at Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research—one of the university’s leading research centers and a key hub for practical application in the fields of renewable and clean energy.<br />This program comes as part of the center’s annual plan aimed at enhancing students’ skills and scientific knowledge through an integrated approach that combines academic learning with practical application. The training includes interactive scientific lectures, hands-on workshops, and field visits to institutions and companies specialized in the energy sector.<br />A group of students was received, their names registered, and they were assigned to various scheduled activities. The first day featured opening lectures delivered by Prof. Dr. Sulwan Ubaid Haidar, Director of the Center, and Dr. Hassan Mowafaq Ghani, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering. The sessions addressed the importance of research-based training and the future role of clean energy in sustainable development.<br />The students expressed great enthusiasm and appreciation for the structure and content of the program, noting that the sessions significantly increased their interest in renewable energy.
