Hibiscus is a herbaceous plant with high nutritional and medicinal value, and is famous for its delicious cold or hot drink. Hibiscus has been used since ancient times in folk medicine to treat many health problems, and it is also considered an important economic plant.<br />Botanical Description<br />Family: Malvaceae.<br />General Appearance: An annual herbaceous plant, 1–2 meters tall.<br />Leaves: Green-lobed, reddish.<br />Flowers: Large, beautiful, deep red or crimson.<br />Fruit: Seed capsules, the fleshy red sepals surrounding the flower are used.<br />Habitat and Distribution<br />Hibiscus is native to tropical Africa.<br />It is widely cultivated in Sudan, Egypt, Iraq, India, Mexico, and elsewhere.<br />It thrives in warm regions with light, well-drained soil.<br />Active Ingredients:<br />Organic acids (malic acid, citric acid).<br />Anthocyanin (a natural antioxidant pigment).<br />High levels of vitamin C.<br />Minerals such as iron and calcium.<br />Medicinal Benefits<br />1.
