As part of its preparations for the Sustainability Camp, scheduled to be held at the beginning of October 2025, the Department of Anesthesia at the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Al-Mustaqbal University organized the first online workshop included in its proposed training program, entitled: “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): A Fundamental Skill in Every Home and Family.”<br /><br />The workshop was delivered by Mr. Ali Rasool from the Department of Anesthesia, who presented a scientific lecture addressing the fundamental principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation based on the CABD methodology (Circulation, Airway, Breathing, Defibrillation), emphasizing the importance of timely intervention in saving lives during critical situations.<br /><br />The event was attended by Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, Scientific Assistant Dean, and Dr. Ahmed Khudair, Head of the Department, who both stressed that organizing such online workshops aligns with Goal 3 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-being), by contributing to the promotion of health awareness and equipping students with essential knowledge to enhance their academic and professional competencies.<br /><br />This workshop reflects the university’s vision of preparing highly qualified medical professionals who are capable of keeping pace with academic and technological advancements, while effectively serving society according to the highest scientific standards.<br /><br />Al-Mustaqbal University<br />The First University in Iraq.
