Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muthaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, Academic Supervisor, the college held a distinguished ceremony on Thursday, October 10, 2025, to honor its top students for the 2024–2025 academic year, coinciding with the celebration of Iraqi National Day.<br />The ceremony began with the Iraqi National Anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an and a moment of silence with Al-Fatiha in tribute to Iraq’s martyrs.<br />Afterward, the Dean delivered a speech expressing his pride in the students’ achievements, emphasizing that this celebration reflects Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to excellence and innovation, encouraging students to continue their pursuit of academic distinction.<br />The event also included presentations of success stories from outstanding students, highlighting their academic excellence, followed by the distribution of certificates of appreciation by the Dean in recognition of their exceptional efforts, in an atmosphere filled with pride and joy.<br />The ceremony concluded by reaffirming the pivotal role of students in building Iraq’s bright future and promoting values of national belonging and scientific creativity.<br />This activity comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting outstanding students and fostering an inspiring academic environment that prepares creative and capable leaders for the future.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University, the First in Iraq.
