Within the framework of its humanitarian initiatives and social responsibility, the College of Health and Medical Technologies at Mustaqbal University organized a field visit to the Ain Social Care Foundation / Babylon Branch, with the participation of a group of students from the college serving as Sustainability Ambassadors, under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Adnan Al-Khafaji, and the Head of the Summer Training Unit, Assistant Lecturer Murtada Hassan Al-Saeedi. The visit included an orientation of the foundation’s departments and an overview of the services provided for the care and rehabilitation of orphans, in addition to a detailed briefing by the foundation’s staff regarding its social and humanitarian programs. The visit also featured a warm and compassionate atmosphere, where students presented gifts to the orphans in an initiative reflecting the values of solidarity and care, highlighting the university’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to support social and humanitarian institutions and its commitment to fostering a culture of volunteering and social responsibility among students, in alignment with the SDGs and their societal objectives.
