Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Nursing, in collaboration with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Medical Laboratories, organized a scientific hackathon entitled: 🔹 “Smart Integration of Nursing and Medical Laboratories Using Artificial Intelligence” The event was held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, in the Activities Hall of the Engineering Building, with the participation of a distinguished group of professors, researchers, and students from various university colleges. The hackathon aims to enhance integration between the fields of nursing and medical laboratories by leveraging artificial intelligence technologies to improve healthcare services, increase diagnostic accuracy, and accelerate patient response, contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). The event also seeks to develop students’ skills in innovation and scientific research, encouraging them to design digital solutions that enhance the efficiency of healthcare and educational systems, in line with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to reinforce the concepts of sustainability, scientific and technological integration, and to realize the university’s vision in supporting creativity and academic excellence, serving both society and the healthcare sector in Iraq.
