On Wednesday, October 2nd, the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness lecture in observance of the International Day of Non-Violence, delivered by Dr. Ahmed Turki Hani. The lecture addressed the concept of non-violence as a human and ethical value, and its role in promoting a culture of dialogue and tolerance within and beyond the academic community. Dr. Ahmed emphasized that rejecting violence contributes to creating a safe and supportive university environment, which positively impacts mental well-being and constructive communication between students and faculty. He also highlighted that spreading the principles of non-violence is an essential part of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16 related to peace, justice, and strong institutions. This activity comes as part of the college’s commitment to fostering community awareness and promoting civilized behavior among students in service of their professional and humanitarian future.
