On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the College of Dentistry at Al Mustaqbal University organized a scientific seminar titled “Oral Cavity and Gastrointestinal Tract Health”, delivered by the faculty member Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Fares, with the attendance of staff members and students. The seminar discussed the importance of maintaining oral and dental health and its strong connection to stomach and gastrointestinal well-being. The lecturer explained that several oral diseases may serve as indicators or contributing factors to digestive system disorders, including gastric ulcers. He also highlighted common clinical cases linking oral inflammation with stomach ulcers and their impact on overall health. This seminar comes as part of the college’s ongoing scientific activities aimed at promoting health awareness among students and emphasizing the vital relationship between oral and general health, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring good health and well-being.
