On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific seminar titled “Oral Mucosal Lesions in Denture Wearers”, delivered by faculty member Asst. Lecturer Ali Hamed, with the attendance of staff members and students. The seminar discussed common problems associated with removable dentures and the causes of mucosal ulcerations in denture wearers. The lecturer explained the irritating factors that contribute to these lesions and presented modern treatment approaches as well as alternative materials that minimize mucosal irritation, aiming to enhance patient comfort and oral health quality. This seminar is part of the college’s continuous scientific efforts to expand students’ clinical understanding and emphasize the importance of careful patient follow-up to ensure safe and sustainable oral healthcare.
