he Department of Mental and Psychological Health at the College of Nursing / Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific visit to the Psychiatry and Autism Center in Babylon, with the participation of fourth-year students. The visit aimed to enhance the students’ practical skills and familiarize them with the mechanisms of diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the behavioral and rehabilitative treatment methods used in specialized centers. It also provided an opportunity to learn about the psychological and educational services offered to children with autism. During the visit, the students listened to a detailed explanation from the specialized staff about the nature of the center’s work and the role of the medical and educational team in caring for and psychologically supporting children. They also interacted with the educational activities and field observations presented. This visit is part of the college’s plan to integrate theoretical education with practical training and to promote the concept of educational sustainability, thereby contributing to the preparation of scientifically and professionally distinguished students in the field of mental and psychological health.
