On the occasion of World Arthritis Day, the Department of Radiology Techniques, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Health of Our Children’s Joints Is Everyone’s Responsibility,” held under the slogan “With a Step and a Technique… Resist Joint Pain.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Fadhel Sahib Al-Hasnawi, a specialist and faculty member in the Department of Radiology Techniques, who discussed the most common types of arthritis affecting children, their causes, as well as methods of diagnosis, treatment, and early prevention. He also highlighted the role of modern technologies in early detection of joint diseases and emphasized the importance of regular medical follow-up. The workshop witnessed active participation from faculty members and students of the college, who praised the scientific content and its impact on enhancing health awareness. They stressed the importance of holding such activities that connect academic learning with community education. At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees expressed their appreciation to the Dean’s Office for its continuous support of scientific activities that contribute to community service and align with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly those related to health and quality of life.
