On the occasion of World Arthritis Day, the Department of Radiologic Technologies, in collaboration with the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Health of Our Children’s Joints is Our Collective Responsibility”, held under the slogan “With Every Step and Innovation… Resist Joint Pain.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Fadhil Sahib Al-Hasnawi, a specialist and faculty member in the Department of Radiologic Technologies. During the session, he reviewed the most common types of arthritis affecting children, their causes, as well as methods of diagnosis, treatment, and early prevention. He also discussed the role of modern technologies in the early detection of joint diseases and emphasized the importance of regular medical follow-up. The workshop witnessed remarkable participation and interaction from the college’s faculty members and students, who praised the scientific content and its impact in raising health awareness. They emphasized the significance of organizing such activities that link academic knowledge with community health education. At the conclusion of the event, attendees expressed their gratitude to the college’s dean for her continuous support of scientific activities that serve the community and align with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to health and quality of life.
