with the patronage and presence of Mr. Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, Governor of Babylon, and under the direct supervision of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the Al-Mustaqbal Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp was launched at Babylon Resort with wide local and international participation, including university leaders, faculty members, and students. The opening day featured sports events such as running and cycling marathons, followed by the opening of an exhibition hall showcasing students’ scientific and artistic innovations, in addition to various bazaars and displays. This pioneering initiative—the first of its kind among Iraqi universities—aims to promote a culture of sustainability, community engagement, and youth empowerment in innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
