The University of Babylon organized a specialized workshop on the Bologna Process, as part of its ongoing efforts to develop academic programs and enhance the quality of higher education.
The workshop featured the participation of Prof. Dr. Saadiya Hadi Hamidi, Dean of the College of Nursing at Al-Mustaqbal University, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahdi Hamza Mandhoor and Asst. Lecturer Aws Shillal Abbas.
The presenters delivered key topics related to the mechanisms of implementing the Bologna Process, its requirements, and its future prospects within Iraqi universities.
The workshop addressed the importance of adopting the Bologna educational system in improving curricula, enhancing learning outcomes, and increasing graduates’ employability, in addition to aligning academic programs with European and international standards.
The event also included extensive discussions among participants on best practices and strategies for a gradual transition to the system, supporting efforts to elevate academic quality and advance educational development in Iraqi universities.
