As part of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on Quality Education, and in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment—as the No.1 university in Iraq—to enhancing students’ ethical awareness, the Department of Aesthetic and Laser Techniques, in collaboration with the Academic Guidance and Counseling Unit, organized a workshop titled “The Principles of Imam Al-Hussain (PBUH).” The workshop was presented by Ms. Shahad Noors Abbas on November 2, 2025, with the participation of a group of students from the department. The session highlighted the humanitarian principles embodied by Imam Al-Hussain (PBUH), including altruism, justice, freedom, and reform, and emphasized their role in shaping students’ character and strengthening their sense of ethical responsibility within the university and society. The presenter stressed the importance of adopting these values when facing challenges and making ethical decisions, contributing to a conscious and responsible academic environment. The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion in which Ms. Shahad answered students’ questions, affirming that moral principles are essential for personal growth and academic and professional success.
