On 13/11/2025, the Women’s Affairs Unit of the College of Engineering Technologies participated in the central online workshop organized by the Women’s Affairs Division at the Presidency of Al-Mustaqbal University. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Sahira, Head of the Women’s Affairs Division at the University Presidency, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi.
This workshop is part of a series of central workshops directly supervised by the University Vice Presidents and the Presidency, represented by the Scientific and Academic Supervisor, aiming to enhance coordination and unified support for women’s affairs programs across all university entities.
The workshop covered multiple topics focusing on empowering women in the university environment by identifying key psychological, academic, and social needs, and developing their academic, personal, and professional skills through training programs, knowledge exchanges, and outcome exhibitions. It also emphasized encouraging women’s participation in scientific, cultural, and social activities, proposing practical projects to develop and implement women’s initiatives according to the University’s strategic plan, in addition to ensuring a supportive and safe university environment fr all.
These efforts are part of the University’s commitment to enhancing and empowering the role of women, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality.
