On the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries organized a field awareness campaign on November 16, 2025, with the participation of third-year students. The campaign was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Lecturers Abrar Falah Naji and Rusul Ahmed Hashim, with contributions from programmer Fatima Waleed Khalid. Educational brochures were distributed across university buildings to promote the values of tolerance and strengthen a culture of mutual respect among students. The campaign aimed to emphasize the importance of rejecting violence and extremism while fostering a university environment built on understanding and peaceful coexistence. The brochures included awareness messages highlighting the role of tolerance in building positive human relationships, supporting creativity, and encouraging acceptance of others within the academic community. The department affirmed that this activity aligns with its annual plan to enhance community awareness and reinforce human values in a manner consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals.
