Zahraa Nadhum Abd<br />•Waste, in the general sense of the word, is all that remains from any activity that has no primary use where there are better conditions and at another or secondary location at the source, although it may have value if any available for better use .The World Health Organization has defined “waste” as some of the things that have become ,Its owner wants it somewhere and sometime, which has not become of importance or value to him, and the bank’s experts knew International “waste” means something that has no value in use, but if this can be recycled .The thing so that it can be used or benefited from, or some of its components can be retrieved, in this case it is not considered waste.<br /><br />•Research has proven that waste recycling creates new jobs and job opportunities, and thus contributes to reducing unemployment rates. The study recommended that individuals carry out sorting and separation from the source because this gives good results that contribute to reducing waste disposal costs, which leads to a reduction in public spending and in the development of recycling technology. As well as improving working conditions for cleaners, especially in landfills, and developing treatment by adding crushing and pelletizing tools to add value to recyclable materials.<br /><br />•The benefits of waste recycling for the environment and society are numerous, including reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills and incineration sites, and thus reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. Preserving natural resources, such as: timber, water, and minerals. Preventing environmental pollution by reducing the need for collecting these materials, and saving energy. Providing job opportunities and new jobs.<br /><br />•Facts about waste recycling There are many facts about waste recycling, including ,The average person produces more than one kilo and eight hundred grams of waste per day; That is about 1.5 tons of solid waste per year. A recycled aluminum case provides enough to listen to an entire album on a smart device. 60% of waste can be recycled. 50% of waste can be converted into fertilizer. 80% of car parts can be recycled.<br />
