Workshop on “Women and the Work Environment: Ensuring Rights and Preventing Discrimination” at the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering

The Women’s Affairs Division, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs representatives in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Industries Engineering, organized a workshop titled “Women and the Work Environment: Ensuring Rights and Preventing Discrimination, with the participation of a group of students and several faculty members. The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of professional equality principles and highlight the importance of creating a fair and safe work environment for women. It shed light on key legislation, protection policies, and essential requirements to reduce discriminatory practices within institutions. The workshop covered several essential topics, including: women’s rights in the workplace mechanisms for reducing workplace discrimination, the challenges faced by working women, and examples of successful work environments built on fairness and mutual respect.
