Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and with the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, an online scientific workshop entitled “Literature Review Platforms” was held. The workshop was presented by Dr. Mayas Mohammed Mahdi, a lecturer in the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision toward becoming a Smart University. The workshop highlighted the most prominent platforms used for reviewing scientific literature and developing the theoretical framework of theses and research papers. It also emphasized the role of artificial intelligence technologies in enhancing research processes, summarization, and reducing the time and effort required by researchers. The workshop further reviewed search mechanisms across reputable global platforms that provide results supported by authentic sources, ensuring higher quality and greater accuracy in analysis and presentation. The presentation covered the use of advanced platforms that allow researchers to: Search extensive databases containing hundreds of millions of research papers Analyze and review titles and abstracts using artificial intelligence Extract essential data from tables and textual content within research papers Generate preliminary reports supported by accurate citations from original sources Sustainable Development Goal Applied: Goal 4 – Quality Education, through supporting scientific research skills and enhancing the capabilities of students and researchers. The workshop was attended by the staff of the College of Engineering Technologies and other interested participants, who were encouraged to explore these platforms and consider applying them in research projects at the university. Objective: To empower researchers with modern and effective research tools that support academic work through the reliable and organized use of artificial intelligence.
