In accordance with the directives of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University, the college organized a specialized training workshop based on the recommendations of the committee responsible for developing the capabilities of the teaching staff, under the title: “The AI Tool NotebookLM Powered by Gemini” The workshop was presented by Asst. Lecturer Ali Adnan Abdulkadhim from the Department of Computer Engineering Technologies. The session included an explanation of how the tool operates, ways to utilize it in organizing digital content, analyzing sources, and enhancing the teaching staff’s ability to integrate artificial intelligence into the educational process. The workshop aimed to develop the staff’s skills in using modern smart technologies and to support the digital transformation efforts within the college, in line with the requirements of contemporary university education. This activity comes as part of the college’s efforts to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing the competencies of academic staff and enabling them to use advanced AI tools. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, emphasized the importance of continuing to hold specialized workshops and training programs due to their crucial role in advancing the skills of both teaching staff and employees. He also stressed that the college continues its project of developing scientific laboratories and equipping them with the latest digital technologies to enhance the educational environment and support the capabilities of students and researchers.
