Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized online workshop entitled “The Learning Journey with Gemini Pro – Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Quality Education.” The workshop was presented by Lecturer Dr. Musaddiq Maher Abdul-Zahra, Director of the AI Incubator at the University. It targeted the teaching staff as well as all technical and administrative employees, reflecting the University's ongoing commitment to developing staff skills and enabling them to keep pace with digital transformation and effectively utilize AI technologies in supporting both educational and administrative processes. The workshop covered five main stages in the Gemini Pro learning journey, as follows: Chapter One: Gemini Fundamentals Participants were introduced to the capabilities of Gemini Pro and its role in supporting education and academic content creation, in addition to the basic tools needed to interact with it. Chapter Two: Interaction and Understanding Dr. Musaddiq provided a step-by-step explanation of how to interact with Gemini Pro and how to improve prompt formulation to obtain accurate and effective results. Chapter Three: Practical Applications The practical segment included creating diagrams, summaries, and educational examples, as well as transforming ideas into executable tasks for both classroom and administrative use. Chapter Four: Customization and Integration The workshop presented Gems tools that help create customized models tailored to the needs of academic courses and administrative tasks. Chapter Five: Success Stories The workshop concluded with local and global success stories showcasing the effective use of Gemini Pro, along with new ideas to enhance educational quality and improve university performance. This workshop comes as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to support Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education, by developing the capacities of its staff and enabling them to adopt innovative, modern educational and administrative approaches based on digital transformation.
