A number of staff members from the Deanery of the College of Health and Medical Technologies and the Department of Anesthesia Techniques participated in a health awareness campaign targeting school students, including Qasim Al-Sabbak Private School, which follows international standards. This initiative is part of the College’s efforts to promote health culture among children and adolescents, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which aims to ensure good health and well-being. The campaign aimed to raise awareness about the importance of hand hygiene and sanitization in preventing communicable diseases, as well as educating students on ways to protect themselves from influenza and viruses. The initiative included a simple yet scientific explanation for students on how infections are transmitted and how to minimize their spread. The activity also involved distributing sanitization tools and masks to students and teaching staff, emphasizing the importance of adopting daily healthy practices that contribute to creating a safe and healthy school environment.
