The session was moderated by Pharmacist Dr. Firas Star Ghani, who provided a detailed explanation of different types of medications and their indications, and answered attendees’ questions during the “Ask a Pharmacist” segment. The symposium also included an extensive presentation on medicinal plants that can serve as supportive alternatives to antibiotics, highlighting the extraction mechanisms of their active compounds in collaboration with the College of Agriculture. At the conclusion of the event, the Deanery presented participation certificates to the guests in recognition of their scientific contributions and distinguished presence, reaffirming the importance of continued collaboration to serve the community and enhance health awareness.
