The main objectives of the study are: • Response Measurement: To evaluate and analyze the speed and effectiveness of the engineering maintenance team's response to malfunctions in life support and monitoring equipment in the emergency department. • Readiness Analysis: To identify the most significant operational and logistical challenges that hinder the speed of repair tasks and their impact on department readiness. • Recommendations: To propose new standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure reduced downtime and maximize the availability of equipment. Importance of the Topic: This study is of utmost importance as it deals with equipment that directly impacts patient lives. Every minute of delay in repairing a ventilator or defibrillator poses a real challenge that threatens patient safety. We hope that the results of this study will contribute to the development of the medical maintenance system and the improvement of safety and quality standards in health institutions.
