As part of strengthening a supportive university environment for students and following up on the implementation of psychological counseling and educational guidance plans, Asst. Lecturer Abdulkhaleq Mahdi Abdulkarim, Rapporteur of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, conducted a field visit on the morning of Tuesday, 11/3/2025, to several scientific departments in the college, which included: 1- Electrical Technologies Department 2- Medical Devices Technologies Department 3- Communications Technologies Department During the visit, separate meetings were held with the heads of departments and the heads of the psychological counseling and educational guidance committees. The meetings discussed the mechanisms for implementing the counseling plan that was previously circulated electronically to all departments, in addition to reviewing the approved monthly activity progress report form related to the general counseling plan. The unit rapporteur also delivered special forms containing information about students with various talents and hobbies, with the aim of utilizing their abilities to support student activities and develop their skills. Emphasis was placed on the necessity for the departmental counseling committees to hold direct meetings with the concerned students and follow up on what serves their interests and enriches the university environment. The department heads and committee members showed rapid cooperation and positive response, affirming their commitment to implementing the agreed-upon measures and enhancing the educational and counseling process. Activity Objective: This activity aims to strengthen educational communication, support students psychologically and academically, and invest in their talents and abilities to build an encouraging and active academic environment within the scientific departments. In conclusion, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit will continue to follow up on all procedures to ensure the achievement of the approved counseling plan goals. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first among private universities in Iraq
