Today, the College of Engineering at Al-Mustaqbal University held an important and dynamic workshop, presented by Dr. Dakhil Nasser Taha and his team, as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to enhance laboratory performance quality and improve administrative and technical organization within the academic departments. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). The workshop covered several key topics, including: • GLP forms and good laboratory practice standards. • Procedures for receiving visitors in the laboratory. • Attendance forms, quizzes, and laboratory occupancy schedules. • The concept of MSDS and its importance in improving occupational safety. • Assignment and inventory books and methods for documenting them. • Principles of laboratory equipment maintenance and organization. The college also instructed a field visit to select the outstanding laboratory based on specific criteria aimed at enhancing quality and motivating departments to adhere to the highest professional standards, supporting the creation of a safe and effective educational environment in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
