As part of its educational activities aimed at developing students’ skills and increasing engagement within the learning environment, the College of Dentistry organized an interactive lecture for second-year students in the Dental Materials Laboratory. The lecture adopted a modern teaching approach based on dividing students into working groups and conducting scientific debates among them on various topics related to dental materials. This method contributed to enhancing participation, improving analytical thinking, and encouraging students to exchange scientific viewpoints in an organized manner. The activity witnessed high levels of interaction, as each group presented its scientific perspective supported by examples, followed by constructive discussions that helped reinforce key concepts and improve understanding in an innovative way. This activity comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to adopt modern interactive teaching methods that prepare students to develop critical thinking and teamwork skills, in line with the College of Dentistry’s vision to enhance the educational environment and improve learning outcomes.
