The Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering organized a distinguished promotional campaign aimed at introducing students to the department’s specialization and its scientific and humanitarian importance. The campaign saw wide participation from the department’s faculty members, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Thaer Raouf, Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghafar, Lecturer Ghadir Haider Abbas, and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. The campaign included a detailed presentation on the nature of study within the department and the approved scientific curricula, along with a showcase of modern models of prosthetic and orthotic devices and the technologies used in their design and manufacturing. Faculty members also provided extensive explanations to students about future career paths and the role of the department’s graduates in rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and healthcare institutions.
