Under the title “A Safe Childhood… Without Violence,” the College of Engineering organized an awareness and guidance campaign aimed at protecting children from all forms of violence and highlighting its negative effects on children’s psychological and social well-being. The campaign emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of respect and care within the family and society.
The campaign included guidance and educational activities focused on raising awareness of children’s rights and clarifying the role of educational and community institutions in preventing violence and building a safe educational and social environment that contributes to raising healthy generations capable of positive contribution.
This campaign aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), by supporting children’s mental health and reducing practices that threaten their physical and moral safety, thereby contributing to building a cohesive and secure society.
The College of Engineering affirmed its continued commitment to adopting awareness initiatives that promote human values and protect childhood, based on the belief that children are the foundation of the future and the hope of tomorrow.
