As part of its social and educational role, the College of Engineering organized an awareness and guidance campaign titled “Together to Protect Our Childhood from the Scourge of Drugs.” The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and their negative effects on children’s health and psychological and social development, while emphasizing the importance of early prevention and building a safe environment that protects future generations. The campaign included guidance and educational activities that focused on promoting positive values and developing students’ awareness of their humanitarian role in protecting children. It also highlighted the responsibility of families and educational institutions in limiting the spread of this dangerous phenomenon and reinforcing a culture of rejection toward anything that threatens children’s safety. This campaign aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), by contributing to the promotion of children’s mental and physical health, preventing harmful behaviors, and building a more aware and secure society. Through this initiative, the College of Engineering reaffirmed its commitment to its academic and community role in supporting humanitarian causes and actively participating in child protection and building a future free from risks.
