Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini, Dean of the College of Law, and within the activities of the College of Law in the field of sustainable development, the college, in cooperation with the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Division, organized a seminar entitled: "Psychological Guidance and Its Role in Building Peaceful University Communities", on Saturday, 20/12/2025, at the College of Law Hall – Humanitarian Building. The seminar was delivered by Dr. Saad Obeid Hussein, who discussed the importance of psychological guidance in supporting students and promoting a safe and peaceful university environment, emphasizing its role in building a harmonious campus community capable of coping positively with academic and psychological pressures. Dr. Saad Obeid also highlighted the role of psychological guidance in enhancing positive interaction between students and teaching staff, and the importance of providing psychological and social support mechanisms that contribute to fostering harmony and cooperation within the campus. At the conclusion of the seminar, the speaker emphasized the necessity of raising students’ awareness about the importance of psychological guidance and its role in building peaceful university communities, contributing to the creation of a balanced educational environment and a university community that respects the rights of all its members.
