College of Education at the University of Al-Mustaqbal Holds a Scientific Seminar Entitled “Women and Education: The Key to Sustainable Development”

The College of Education at the University of Al-Mustaqbal held a specialized scientific seminar entitled “Women and Education: The Key to Sustainable Development” at the Department of English Language, in cooperation with the University’s Women’s Affairs Unit. The seminar was delivered by Asst. Lecturer Saja Zuhair Hamed. The seminar aimed to highlight the pivotal role of women in the educational process and its direct impact on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to enhance awareness of the importance of empowering women academically and intellectually as a fundamental pillar for building a balanced society capable of keeping pace with scientific and cultural advancement. The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rodhan Salman, the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, Dr. Mary, and the Head of the Department of English Language, Prof. Dr. Salam Hassan Makki, in addition to a number of faculty members. This attendance reflected the college administration’s and concerned parties’ interest in supporting scientific activities that address issues related to women and education. At the conclusion of the seminar, the attendees emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such purposeful scientific events, given their effective role in spreading societal awareness and strengthening the partnership between education and development, in a way that contributes to achieving the university’s vision and mission in serving the community. #College_of_Education #University_of_Al-Mustaqbal
