The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized training workshop entitled “Mechanisms of Examination Committees’ Work and the Organization of Examination Records”, as part of its plan aimed at developing academic and administrative performance and enhancing the quality of the educational process at the University. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Amjad Hamid Majid, Head of the Business Administration Department, who reviewed the most important instructions and regulations governing the work of examination committees. He highlighted their essential role in promoting integrity, transparency, and accuracy in the management of examinations and the organization of examination records. The workshop addressed several key themes, including: The concept of examination committees and their administrative and academic responsibilities Mechanisms for organizing and auditing examination records Handling examination errors and cases of absence and postponement The importance of examination records in achieving quality assurance and meeting academic accreditation requirements The workshop witnessed active participation from members of examination committees across the University’s colleges. An open discussion session was held to address inquiries, contributing to the exchange of experiences and strengthening a shared understanding of the approved examination procedures and instructions. At the conclusion of the workshop, the organizers emphasized the importance of continuing to hold such training workshops due to their positive impact on developing the capacities of academic and administrative staff, thereby contributing to the improvement of institutional performance at Al-Mustaqbal University.
