The College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized an awareness campaign entitled “Combating Electronic Addiction” on 21/12/2024. The campaign aimed to highlight the risks of electronic addiction and its negative effects on mental and social health, especially among youth and students. The campaign included lectures and guidance activities that focused on defining electronic addiction, its causes, and methods of prevention, in addition to promoting safe and balanced use of digital technologies and social media. The event witnessed positive interaction from students through discussions and questions that contributed to raising their level of awareness. This initiative comes within the efforts of the College of Nursing and the Women’s Affairs Unit to support mental health, spread health awareness, and contribute to building a conscious university environment capable of addressing contemporary challenges.
