The College of Nursing, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, organized an awareness workshop on maternal and child care as part of its activities aimed at enhancing health awareness and promoting nursing culture within the university community. The workshop covered several topics, including the importance of maternal care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, as well as the basics of child care, proper nutrition, disease prevention, and the role of the family in providing a safe and healthy environment for both mother and child. The workshop also witnessed positive interaction from attendees through discussions and questions. This workshop reflects the commitment of the College of Nursing and the Women’s Affairs Unit to supporting maternal and child health and strengthening the college’s educational and community service role.
