Medical Experience on Humans Outside the Scope of Treatment
(Non-Clinical Research)
Dr. Asma'a Hassan Mohamed

This type of experiment is conducted on healthy volunteers for the benefit of scientific progress and society as a whole. The volunteer must give free consent, be in good health, and the doctor must protect his of her life during the experiment. The regulations governing this type of experience are summarized as follows: 1) In research with a purely experimental formula, the physician must take into account the health and life of the person being tested. 2) These experiments are only conducted on volunteers, whether healthy or sick, whose disease is not related to the nature of the experiment. 3) The researcher or research team should terminate the experiment immediately if it is found that continuing it may harm the person. 4) When conducting medical research, the health interest of the individual should not be overestimated, whatever the desired scientific benefit or interest to the community.
On the other hand, conflicts of opinion persisted, and each country enacted its own laws, and although everyone agreed on the legitimacy of therapeutic trails, but many countries denied the non-therapeutic experiments even with the consent of the person, such as Germany and Austria, while others linked the person's consent to the best interest of society, such as Britain and America. However, many questions remain in this context, including: What are the limits of experimentation on people? And who protects the human from turning into a field of experience even if free satisfaction is available? What if the experience was peer-formoney, or involved deception, or was conducted on a person under authority, such as a prisoner or student, or even the citizen himself whose relationship with its doctor is not free from submission? Several years ago there was a sensation in the United States about the experience of volunteers teachers and students. The aim of the experiment was to prove the impact of punishment on the educational process. Teachers were allowed to use beating, as well as harsh means of punishment, such as electrocution and burning on the hands. Opponents of the experiment said it severely damaged human feelings and dignity of student. Apart from the official bodies, many popular control groups went further, not only demanding banning experiments on human beings of any kind, but also banned on experimental animals is overwhelmed and has no opinion and no will but in such kind of extremism harms scientific research and the scientific process, so that some of them overestimate its defense of the animal to the point of refraining from eating meat on the grounds that it can not tolerate the process of slaughtering and does not accept. Thus, many protests, for example, against Muslims by some European figures and nicknamed the slaughter of sacrifices on the Eid-al-Adha massacres and genocide against animal.
