Under the Patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Nursing Launches the Major Voluntary Campaign “A Journey of Hope and Health in the Heart of the Countryside”<br /><br />Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majid, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, the College of Nursing has launched the major voluntary campaign titled “A Journey of Hope and Health in the Heart of the Countryside”, aiming to provide essential healthcare and awareness services to the residents of villages and rural areas in Babylon Province.<br /><br />The campaign featured a mobile medical clinic, equipped with an ambulance providing comprehensive nursing care. The medical team conducted vital sign measurements, including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and weight, along with offering first aid services, wound dressing, and health advice to the citizens. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3), which focuses on ensuring good health and well-being for all.<br /><br />A specialized team from the College of Nursing participated in the campaign, led by Lecturer Dr. Ismail Mohammed Kazem and Assistant Lecturer Rehab Fliya Hassan, along with staff members from the college. The initiative was supervised by Dr. Roaa Majid Mohammed, Assistant Dean of the College and Sustainability Officer.
