The Anesthesia Techniques Department at the College of Medical and Health Techniques, Al-Mustaqbal University, conducted an awareness activity on reducing the use of plastic items and replacing them with glass bottles on December 8, 2025. The activity was carried out with the participation of Dr. Talib Jejan, Mr. Zaid Fadel, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, and Mr. Abbas Sabri, aiming to raise environmental awareness among students and department members and promote sustainable practices that contribute to protecting the environment and reducing plastic pollution. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, by encouraging students to use glass bottles and reduce plastic waste, thereby supporting environmental protection and promoting community sustainability. The participants emphasized the importance of replacing plastic items with glass bottles due to their positive impact on public health and the environment, affirming the department’s commitment to supporting environmental and community initiatives and instilling sustainability values among students.
