The Anesthesia Techniques Department conducted a scientific activity that involved visiting several pharmacies in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate on December 1, 2025, aiming to provide health guidance and advice to visitors and promote health awareness in the community. The activity was led by Dr. Ahmed Naama Abd, who emphasized the importance of direct communication with visitors and delivering accurate health information, contributing to raising health awareness, preventing medication errors, and reflecting the department’s community role. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by promoting health literacy within the local community and supporting healthy practices. The activity is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to enhance social responsibility and instill public service values among students and participants in scientific activities.
