As part of the central celebrations taking place in Babylon and other governorates, Al-Mustaqbal University, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker, inaugurated a major art exhibition that reflects the heroism and sacrifices of Iraqi soldiers over decades. The exhibition, held in Al-Mustaqbal Gardens, will feature wide participation from both military and civilian artists, showcasing over 100 artworks, including oil paintings, sculptures, and photographs documenting liberation campaigns and the humanitarian duties carried out by the army. Paintings: Highlight the solidarity between the people and the army. Calligraphy: A special section for Arabic calligraphy featuring phrases expressing pride in Iraqi sovereignty and the heroism of martyrs. Historical Wing: Displaying rare artifacts and photographs published for the first time, illustrating the development of military branches and Iraqi military uniforms throughout the ages. The festival will host senior military leaders, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, and numerous artists and intellectuals. In a speech, the spokesperson for the College of Fine Arts, Dean Professor Dr. Mazen, stated: “This exhibition is not merely an artistic activity; it is a message of love and appreciation from the artist’s brush to the soldier’s rifle, documenting a proud history of defending the homeland.” On the sidelines of the exhibition, the musical ensemble will perform interactive national compositions, and a ceremony will honor the families of martyrs and participating artists with awards celebrating creativity and loyalty.....Almustaqbal University, The First University in Iraq
