The election of the first-year student representative in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering was held on Saturday, 3/1/2026, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hamza Al-Maamouri, and implemented by the Department Coordinator, Assistant Lecturer Muntadhar Salih Mahdi, with the participation of Assistant Lecturer Maryam Ghassan Ghaffar and Engineer Aya Talib Hassan. The election process involved distributing ballot slips to students to freely and democratically choose their representative. The results concluded with the selection of student Muntadhar Salih Abdullah as the representative of first-year students. This step comes in support of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting student participation, reinforcing responsibility, encouraging positive representation, and contributing to the creation of a supportive educational environment that fosters leadership and teamwork within the department.
