The Department Coordinator, M.M. Ali Imad Al-Qayim, held an introductory workshop on the Bologna System for first-year students as part of the department’s efforts to raise students’ awareness of modern educational systems and how they are implemented in universities.
The workshop included a comprehensive explanation of the Bologna System, its objectives, and the mechanism for calculating academic credits (ECTS), in addition to clarifying the student’s role within this system and the associated academic responsibilities. The importance of the system in improving the quality of education and enhancing opportunities for academic mobility was also discussed.
The workshop witnessed positive interaction from students, with several questions and inquiries raised and addressed by M.M. Ali Imad Al-Qayim, who emphasized the department’s commitment to supporting students and helping them understand the system in a way that contributes to the success of their academic journey.
