Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies at the Engineering Technical College organized an awareness activity on Sunday, January 3, 2026. The activity was titled: “A Segment from the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory Lecture on Melting Point.” The activity was delivered by Lecturer Ali Yassin, with the participation of Engineer Tabarak Mohsen Ashour. The lecture covered the theoretical and practical foundations of determining melting points, highlighting their importance in assessing the purity of substances and their applications in engineering fields. The activity aimed to enhance the practical aspect of the curriculum, develop students’ skills in conducting laboratory experiments, and link theoretical knowledge with hands-on application. The activity aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: • SDG 4: Quality Education • SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure This activity falls within the pillar of social development for Iraqi women and reflects the department’s efforts to support applied education, strengthen students’ scientific capabilities, and enhance the quality of education in line with the demands of scientific research and industry.
