Instructors Ola Salman Hamza and Saja Falah Hasan from the Aesthetic and Laser Techniques Department presented a scientific workshop titled “The Role of Modern Education in Achieving Sustainable Development”, as part of academic activities aimed at developing skills and raising awareness of contemporary educational concepts. The workshop addressed the concept of modern education and its key principles, focusing on its role in building a generation with creative thinking skills and social responsibility, contributing to sustainable development pathways within the educational environment and society. The workshop also discussed the shift from traditional methods to educational practices based on values and innovation, highlighting the role of both teachers and learners in promoting a culture of sustainability and achieving comprehensive development in educational institutions. At the conclusion of the workshop, participants emphasized the importance of adopting modern educational methods as a fundamental pillar for advancing the educational process and achieving sustainable development goals.
