A number of staff members from the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, College of Science, University of Al-Mustaqbal participated in the in-person workshop entitled “Disability Is Not an Obstacle… Excellence Is the Real Challenge”, which was organized by the College of Science in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. The participation came within the framework of supporting scientific and humanitarian activities that contribute to enhancing community awareness of disability-related issues and highlighting the role of excellence and determination in overcoming challenges. The workshop was delivered by Assist. Lecturer Riam Thaer Ahmed, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and staff from various departments. The workshop addressed several key topics, including social inclusion, empowerment of persons with disabilities, and the importance of providing a supportive and motivating educational environment. This participation reflects the commitment of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems to engaging in events that promote humanitarian values and social responsibility, alongside its academic and scientific role. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq .
